Since moving to the UK in 2007, DJ SACHA has revived the Cuban salsa scene in Cambridge, and is regularly lined up for salsa events throughout the UK. His musical selection covers old favourites as much as bleeding edge new tracks in Cuban Salsa, Timba, Son, Rumba, Bachata, Kizomba and Reggaeton. Thanks to a musical education which started at an early age, and by being a salsa dancer and dance teacher, DJ Sacha has a sure ear to spot the tracks which are catchy and melodic, yet rich and danceable. NICK DUFFIELD has a passion for Salsa and Latin Jazz which started in 1994 when taking percussion lessons with Robin Jones of King Salsa, then later developed through meeting and playing with some of the UK's top Latin musicians. Nick plays the timbales in his own Latin Jazz band, Salsa Caliente, and promotes Latin music locally in Cambridge. Nick's broad selection of Salsa and Latin Jazz features classic to modern day tracks from Colombia, Puerto Rico, New York, Venezuala and Cuba.
